Chosen Families Night for the Class of 2028

Dear Families and Students of the Class of 2028,

I trust that this message finds you in good health and high spirits.

As we eagerly anticipate the start of the 2024-25 academic year, it is my distinct pleasure to extend a warm invitation to you and your families to our Chosen Families Night on Wednesday, June 12, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Urban Assembly School Early College High School of Emergency Medicine (EMed), formerly known as The Urban Assembly School for Emergency Management (UASEM) located at 411 Pearl Street, New York, NY 10038.

At EMed, we believe in a community where students aren’t simply accepted—they are CHOSEN! And we have chosen each and every one of you to join our community of resilient, empathetic, and achievement-oriented students. We are truly humbled that you have also chosen to embark on this journey with us, and we cannot wait to welcome you officially into our family.
Chosen Families Night promises to be an informative and engaging event where you will have the opportunity to hear from me, Principal Dr. Rasheed Bility, as I share our vision for EMed and what it means to be a part of our unique educational community. You will also have the chance to meet some of your future teachers, who are passionate about supporting your growth and success, learn more about the high school expectations you will encounter as incoming 9th graders, as well as meet some of your fellow classmates.

This event is not just about providing information—it's about fostering connections and building relationships that will support you throughout your high school journey. We are super excited to meet you and your family, and we hope that Chosen Families Night marks the beginning of a fulfilling and rewarding partnership between your family and ours.

Please RSVP by clicking here, by Monday, June 3, 2024 to confirm your attendance. If you have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Parent Coordinator, Ms. Diaz at [email protected].
